  67. Command-S). Then, you get another dialog which ask you Package Name and
  68. Signature for your PICT package. Package Name means a package name that
  69. will appear in the Extras Drawer. Signature means the signature name that

  131. transfer files to and from an Apple Newton. It supports Slurpee 1.6
  132. extensively as well as several simpler text transfer programs (Tek-IO,
  133. TapWorks, and Pour). The transfer protocols are set at no parity, 8 data
  134. bits, and xon/xoff handshaking. The communications routines in TapWorks
  135. are not particularlly robust so Get it, Got it! adds carriage returns
  136. every 128 characters. The transfers with Slurpee, however, work great and
  137. with Slurpee 1.6N speeds upto 38,400 Baud Are supported. Large Slurpee
  138. transfers to the Notes soup are split into roughly 4 k segments unless the
  139. Big Notes option is selected (this allows of 30 k segments).

  164. file that usually does a pretty good job. To use ParseTDF you need to
  165. start with a text file in which each contact entry is separated by a
  166. carriage return. Each contact entry is broken down into lines either by
  167. tabs or by newline characters. The first line must be the name of a person
  168. or a company. ParseTDF first looks at an entry to try to figure out
  169. whether the first line is a person or an entity.

  224. the script to work with Eudora, and setting up LunaMail on your Newton.
  225. You can run the script all the time, or just when you want to transfer
  226. mail. When not connected, it uses very little CPU time. Whenever LunaMail
  227. connects, ALL the messages in this mailbox will be sent to the Newton. You
  228. will have to manually delete these messages from Eudora once the transfer
  229. is complete.
